The Irrigator

No matter how much you prepare the field, no matter what type of BMPs you choose to implement, your work will be for naught unless you have the full cooperation of the irrigator. He is the most important person – the one that will ultimately control how much silt leaves your field. Take extra time to train him properly so that he understands what the TMDL process is and that his ultimate goal is to reduce the silt that leaves the field.
