Speed Bump
A roll of fiber mat material makes and excellent ditch check and is very fast and easy to install. Just roll it to the diameter you want, leave an apron on the down-stream side to stop erosion as the water flows over it, and hammer some stakes through it to hold it in place during the first irrigation.
